Humanitarian Aid

Humanitarian Aid to Earthquake Survivor

Haiti has been home to many natural disasters. In 2008, four different hurricanes and floods ravaged the country. 2010 brought the most severe recorded earthquake in 200 years of the country’s history. In times like these Bishop Capré and Harvest of Haiti make immediate aid available wherever and however possible.

Aid programs include help for rebuilding homes, restoring clothing and other basic goods such as food and water. It includes providing access to medical care when needed.

In many of the most impoverished areas, Bishop Capré and Harvest of Haiti make food available to families who might otherwise go days without it.  They also provide access to quality education. More information about that aid is available in the topic Sustainable Community Growth.
