Churches are significant in each community by providing centers for spiritual growth, schooling, disaster assistance and health-improving ministry.
In the months of December ’09 and January ’10 (pre-earthquake), Bishop Capré established two new churches in the northern mountain regions of Haiti. He helped to bring churches to areas where no other churches existed. In this way, he is bringing a much needed benefit to rural communities desperate for the gospel.
