With the Hurricane season from June first to November 30th, we are not intimidated to keep the ministry going on a daily basis.
Spiritual Ministry
From July the 14th to August the 12th, we had 30 students in our summer Bible school. The number of students was adequate but we would like to see more come to be trained every year.
Our annual convention was from July 26th to the 31st. Every day, we had 250 people come from 4 different departments or states plus the local people. We had over 500 people every evening. It was a blessing. On Sunday, July 31st, we had water baptisms. It was great to see how many people were blessed. We had two witch doctors come to the convention and give their hearts to Jesus.
From Monday, August 1st to Wednesday, the 3rd, we had a 3-day fast at the 24-hour House of Prayer of the International Deliverance. Some people came and gave their hearts to Jesus. On Thursday, August 4th, we had a seminar for the women’s association and Friday, August 5th, we had the fifth annual assembly of the women’s ministry of our organization.
That same Friday, August 5th, I left the mountain and went home to the capital city. I arrived home at midnight but Sunday morning, I went to the church where I am the pastor. Everybody was happy to see me back. Monday, August 8th, at 5:00 AM, I woke up and went to see a church in the department of Plateau Central. I talked with the church board members, put everything in order, and left at 6:30PM to go to another church in Ouanaminthe(in the Northeast department or state at the Dominican Republic border). I arrived in Ouanaminthe at 3:00AM, Went to bed right away and woke up at 6:00AM, talked to pastors, put things in order and left to another church at the same department in the city of Fort-Liberté. There I talked to pastors and visited 4 acres of land we have to buy for the church there.
“…we are not intimidated to keep the ministry going on a daily basis.”
We left Fort-Liberté at noon to go to the department of Northwest and the city of Port-de-Paix. We arrived at 9:00PM, happy to see and talk to people, putting things in order.
From August 17th to 21st we took a group of people from Jean-Rabel to Ouanaminthe just to train them as week-end missionaries for a 4-day crusade. From August 26th to 28th, we took another group from Port-au-Prince to Jacmel to train them as weekend missionaries.
As I already mentioned, we are planning to develop land in Fort-Liberté. Right now, we are in agreement to pay $15,000 USD for the development of agriculture for the church there.
In Port-de-Paix, on Wednesday morning, August 10th, we woke up at 5:00AM and went to measure the distance between the 20 acres of land and the river because we want to develop the farm land there. We already have $1,000 USD donated for it by a sister friend in Ohio. We still need $9,000 USD to pay it off. From the river to that land is 3800 feet. We need 200 pieces of pvc for a pipeline to that land (20 feet each piece) and we need a diesel generator for the project.
Additionally, we need at least 15 cows at $290 USD each but we have 3 now. We need 200 goats but if we have 100 at $50 USD each, we will be satisfied. We need 300 chickens at $5 USD each, but if we have 200, we will be satisfied.
We are moving on and on. Please let your prayers be constantly in our favor. We need your prayers in order to have the mercy of God rain on us to keep on moving for his glory until He comes. Thanks for your prayers and support. May the Lord bless you.
